The Brigadoon is divided into two sub-nets. The first is local Wi-Fi network that services the laptops, tablets, phones and televisions. The second subnet is the development subnet that runs on gigabit Ethernet.

It is also mostly runs with its only access to the Internet being to send readings from the weather station to a number of external sites.
